Programs

We offer four programs to American students who are interested in learning more about Egyptian life and culture: the Fast-Paced Taste, 6-Week Summer, Semester Abroad, and Live Like a Local.

Fast-Paced Taste

For American students who want it all but have limited time. These students experience an intense week with three major tourism sights and three host outings with Egyptians to get the most out of every hour. This isn't for the faint of heart - most on this track walk 10 miles a day!

6-Week Summer

For American students who want a taste of Egyptian life. These students spend six weeks in the summer exploring both ancient and modern-day Egypt. Students will take basic “Intro to Amaya (Colloquial Egyptian Arabic)” classes, explore some of the most famous tourism sights, sit in on educational seminars, and make Egyptian friends through Host Outings.

Semester Abroad

For American students who want to spend more than six weeks in Egypt, we offer the Semester Abroad program. Students can choose either the spring or fall semester to experience everything our six-week students do, but over a longer period of time. These students take private Amaya Arabic classes and get to see more of Egypt with additional trips outside of Cairo.

Live Like a Local

For American students who want to really understand what life in Egypt is like. These students come to Egypt for the spring semester and stay through the summer. They’ll do everything listed in our above programs - and then some. This program is for American students who want to become immersed in Egyptian culture.
